Feasibility and Profit Analysis of Integrated Distributed Generation using Sensitivity Based Factor Method

The small-scale technologies used for the production of electricity located closer to the load being served in this era is known as Distributed Generation (DG). These technologies often consist of renewable energy generators which provide low cost electricity. The concerns with the existing power system are high demand and less reliable, less power quantity, limitation in the planning of centralized power system, effect on environment, and security threats. In order to mitigate the above concerns DG units, have to integrated with the existing power system. A lot of issues like protection issues, transmission line voltage instability under fault conditions etc. To mitigate the voltage instability and economic issues a feasible solution to the problem is required. At first the most sensitive bus is selected using the voltage stability on the same bus, secondly the cost and feasibility analysis of the integrated system is made.
