Mr. Tauseef Alam Qureshi is a professional who has a deep experience in the media industry of 20 years and a good academic background in Computer Science. Mr. Tauseef Alam Qureshi has had a technical background of his whole educational life in Computer Science coupled with practical orientation within the digital media systems, developing technologies, and new computing solutions. His technical skill and industry experience gives him the capability to promote interesting real world learning to his students. He had twenty years work experience in the media and broadcast industry before entering academia where he worked on production environments that were based on technology, management of digital systems and multimedia innovation. This broad experience shapes his pedagogical philosophy, which is innovativeness, technology, and problem-solving to equip students with the changing needs of the digital era. In CUSIT, Mr. Qureshi is still committed to student mentorship, applied learning, and research on the subjects of digital transformation, computing in media, and information systems. He is determined to make the students think, be innovative, and achieve excellence in academia and the industry.
