FAZAL MUHAMMAD received the B.Sc. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2004 and 2007, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Topi, Pakistan, in 2017. In 2017, he joined the City University of Science and Information Technology, Peshawar, as an Assistant Professor. He is the member of TeleCoN Research Lab at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Topi, Pakistan. He is the Editorial Board Member of the "Advances in Wireless Communications and Networks", a Peer-reviewed Journal of Science Publishing Group. He also serves as a Secretary, Intuition of Engineers Pakistan, (IEP), Peshawar, since 2017. He is a member of IEEE since 2016. He serves as a reviewer of numerous peer reviewed journals including IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications Systems, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Access, and Ad Hoc Networks, Elsevier. He has published more than 20 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings including IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology [IF=4.332], IEEE Access [IF=3.557], IET Communications [IF= 1.443], IEEE PIMRC '16 (Valencia Spain), ITNAC'18 (Sydney, Australia), and ERSED'18 (Kingdom of Bahrain). His paper received the best paper award from 2nd International Conference on Emerging Research for Sustainable Economic Development (ERSED'18), Kingdom of Bahrain. His research interest are the traffic modeling, green communications, and interference modeling in Wireless Communications with a particular focus on HetNets, cognitive radio networks, and millimeter wave communications using tools from Stochastic Geometry.
