Dr. Farhad Ali holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, one of the world's leading institutions. With over 16 years of academic experience across renowned universities, Dr. Ali has made significant contributions to the field of mathematics, particularly in the areas of Fluid Dynamics, Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) Flows, Nanofluids, Fractional Derivatives, Integral Transforms, Exact Solutions, and Mathematical Modelling.
Currently, he serves as Professor, Head of the Mathematics Department, and Dean faculty of Engineering, Technology and Architecture. His previous leadership roles include Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), where he played a pivotal role in promoting research initiatives and fostering collaboration.
Dr. Ali has published more than 120 research papers in highly reputed international journals. In addition to his extensive academic achievements, he has organized numerous seminars, workshops, and international conferences aimed at enhancing knowledge-sharing among students, faculty, researchers, and professionals worldwide.
He also leads the Computational Analysis Research Group, formed in collaboration with Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, and serves as the Chief Editor of the City University International Journal of Computational Analysis. Furthermore, Dr. Ali is an Associate Editor for Advances in Mechanical Engineering and a recognized reviewer for over 30 prestigious research journals globally. As an HEC-approved supervisor, he has successfully guided numerous MS scholars in their research journeys.
