About City Housing Research Centre
Research Performed
CUIST and its academic departments have always considered imparting quality education to the admitted
students, capacity building of different segments of society and philanthropy to be its guiding principles.
City University is collaborating as one of the contributors in terms of research to Prime Minister’s Naya
Pakistan Housing Scheme. City Housing Research Center (CHRC) is a dedicated center to this end and it is
established with the help and guidance of Hon. Zaigham Rizvi, Chairman, PM Task Force on Housing.
These webpages highlight salient features of the Center and its future plans.
- To facilitate and streamline research activities of CUSIT academic departments, relevant to low cost housing in Pakistan in general and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in particular
- To develop means and methods for introducing and establishing technology in construction industry of KP for automation and standardization
- To identify areas of research relevant to low cost housing and develop execution plans for the same.
