HEC aims to develop and sustain a dynamic and internationally competitive research sector in Pakistan that makes major contributions to economic prosperity, national wellbeing, and the expansion of knowledge. Through HEC's programs, Pakistan has emerged as a rising star in several research disciplines. ORIC at CUSIT provides strategic and operational support to the University's research activities, playing a central role in facilitating impactful research outcomes.

Introduction
In line with HEC policy and the Vice Chancellor's Directives, ORIC was established to reinforce the existing Research and Development Centre at CUSIT Peshawar — sustaining and improving research trends with impact on economic, industrial, social, and academic development toward achieving national objectives.
Mission
ORIC's mission is to develop, expand, enhance, and manage the university's research programs, linking them directly to educational, social, and economic priorities. ORIC ensures research reflects the highest international standards and contributes to building research leadership in line with the "National Research Program for Universities."
